PARBAT, Oct 1: Three people went missing after the swollen Tamadi river swept away from the border of Kushma Municipality-7 and 8 in Parbat district.
Three men went at large in the water after the jeep (Ga 1 Ja 6213) heading to Pokhara from Baglung was taken away by the local river at around 6:30 pm on Saturday while crossing the flooded river, said the police. Three out of four who were on board the jeep were swept away while the driver narrowly escaped the tragedy by jumping off the vehicle, said Inspector at the District Police Office Parbat, Keshab KC.

A search operation has been launched to know the whereabouts of the missing people and the jeep, he added. Security forces including Nepali Police have continued their rescue efforts.
