BHOJPUR, June 26: Three children who were missing for the last two days have been found dead. They were found floating in a pond at Marang Danda in Arun Rural Municipality-1 in the district.
According to police, Ranjiv Sapkota, 16, Pradip Phuyal, 8, and Sushma Phuyal, 14, of the same ward were found dead with their faces upside down in a two-foot deep pond. They were missing since Saturday.
Pradip and Shusma are brother and sister (siblings). Despite claim of the locals that they were thrown into the pond after murder, police have not arrived at this conclusion.
Upon information that the three children were found dead in the pond, a police team led by District Police Chief Kaji Kumar Acharya has reached the incident site and is investigating the case.

According to police, the blood could be noticed running out of their noses and mouths.
The bodies have been sent to BP Koirala Institute of Healt Sciences in Dharan for postmortem at the request of their kin.
Sanjib Sapkota and Shushma Phuyal were studying at local Sarada Secondary School.
