JAJARKOT, Aug 28: Three persons lost their lives and 25 others got injured as the bus (Na 4 Kha 9317) bound to Nepalgunj from Jajarkot skidded some one hundred meters off the road at Bheriganga municipality-5, Harremod, Surkhet along Ratna Highway at 3:30 am on Wednesday.
Deceased have been identified as Laxmi Basnet, 21, of Barekot rural municipality-7, Jajarkot and Hajari Badi, 51, whose address is yet to be identified. Another dead has not been identified yet.

Of injured, four are in critical condition and have been referred to Lucknow, India for further treatment. The injured passengers including bus driver Khim Bahadur BK are undergoing treatment in Kohalpur Medical College.
The in-charge at Area Police Office, Chhinchu Niroj Chaulagain, said accident might have occurred due to over speed. "We have launched an investigation into the incident," said Chaulagain.
