JANAKPUR, Jan 19: Sadhbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato has claimed that the talks between government and United Democratic Madhesi Front (UMDF) are near to consensus.

Mahato’s remark comes at a time when other leaders of the front have been saying that relevance for talks has ended.

Saying that top leaders of major parties have turned positive on ending the protracted crisis, he expressed his optimism that an accord will be reached within few days.

“Talks till date turned out to be mere formality,” he said, “But,  chief of major three parties including  PM are serious on ending the crisis which has increased hopes for a deal.”
