The senior leader also called for the integration of the Central Working Committee formed after the 14th General Convention with the committee formed through the party’s special convention, proposing a unified structure.

In another key proposal, Dr Koirala suggested forming the executive committee in a manner that ensures a majority for the party president in operational matters.

He also emphasized that important party bodies—including the Election Committee, Active Membership Verification Committee, Disciplinary Committee, Constitution Committee, and other committees—should be constituted only through mutual consensus among party leaders.

The proposals come at a time when discussions over internal unity and organizational restructuring are intensifying within the Nepali Congress ahead of its next national convention.
