KATHMANDU, June 19: Chairman of Sadhbhawana Party Rajendra Mahato has said that they are waiting for meaningful talks with the government. Talking with Tek Narayan Bhattarai for Nagarik Show, Mahato refused to sit for talks that would yield no results.

“Talks are the only way out, we are waiting for dialogues,” he said, “The government should make public its view and signal meaningful talks. We will join the table within 24 hours.”

When asked if the government has done some good works, Mahato came down heavily against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

“The patriotism of KP Oli won’t benefit Nepal and Nepali, the time will prove it,” he said, “Those calling the PM a nationalistic are in illusion.”

He accepted that India has assisted the Madhes protest.

Saying that the southern neighbor is for Nepal’s well-being, Mahato defended negative comments made against India.

“Senseless and those without commonsense are protesting against India,” he said.
