KATHMANDU, Dec 3: Sudurpaschim Royals have set a target of 183 runs for Biratnagar Kings in their match under the Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Tuesday.
In the ongoing match at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Sudurpaschim Royals, after losing the toss and being invited to bat first, the Royals scored 182 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Captain Dipendra Singh Airee played a key role, scoring a half-century. He made 57 runs off 24 balls, hitting 3 boundaries and 5 six.
Biratnagar Titans set 150 runs target for Kathmandu Royals
Brendon McCullum scored 36 runs, while Binod Bhandari made 23 runs and Ishan Pandey contributed 21 runs to the Royals’ total. Similarly, Anil Kharel took three wickets for Biratnagar Kings.
Sudurpaschim Royals are playing their first match today, while Biratnagar Kings lost their opening game against Janakpur.
