KATHMANDU, Nov 3: Pokhara Paltans has defeated Hulas Kathmandu Royals by four wickets. In the match held at Pokhara Rangshaala, on Saturday, chasing the run target of 104 set by Kathmandu Royals; Pokhara Paltans met the target with loss of six wickets and 25 balls remaining.
Mohammed Naveed scored highest 36 runs with 15 balls including five sixes. Likewise, Ravi Inder Singh scored 22 runs and Rohit Kumar Paudel 15 runs for the team.
Following the victory, Butwal Blasters and Biratnagar Titans are now out from the tournament. Earlier, Kathmandu Royals scored 103 runs losing all wickets in 19.1 overs.
Kathmandu Royals set target of 104 runs for Pokhara Paltans
Captain Gyanendra Mall scored highest 31 runs in 28 balls with three fours and one six. Likewise, Amit Shrestha scored 21 runs, Basanta Regmi (not out) scored 12 runs and Pawan Sharaf hit 19 runs before returning to the pavilion.
For Pokhara Paltans, Lalit Narayan Maharjan took 3 wickets whereas Mohammed Naveed and Rashid Khan took two wickets each.
