The arrested have been identified as Suprit Thulung, 29, and Bijaya Shrestha,19, of Sitapaila VDC-4, Akashman Singh, 21, of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-22, Tripal Lama, 27, and Krishna Lama, 20, of Rajghat VDC-2, Sarlahi and Manu Adhikari, 23, of Budhathum VDC-4, Dhading.
Police have recovered one sword, one iron-rod, two motorcycles and a receipt, among other things from those arrested. Police said the group was involved in extorting money from businessman Gurung time and again.
