Two party cadres clashed as the CPN-Maoist cadres tore up the election posters belonging to UCPN Maoist candidate here at constituency number 2.
According to Chandra Bahadru Basnet, a local UCPN (Maoist) cadre, the clash occurred between the two sides after CPN-Maoist joint district In-charge Deep Bhadur Khadka-led team tore up the posters and also threatened to take action against UCPN (Maoist) candidate.
According to Chakrapani Pande, Chief District Officer, a team of police has been deputed in the area and situation is already under control.
According to Basnet, police have already been to there as per the information that CPN-Maoist are planning to disrupt UCPN (Maoist) program. Set to be held today.
