According to the tie-sheet, Nepal has been drawn in group ‘A’ alongside defending champion India, Bangladesh and Pakistan in the competition to be held from September 1-11 in Kathmandu.[break]
Similarly, Afghanistan, Maldives, Bhutan and Sri Lanka have been placed in group ‘B’.
Various dignitaries including SAFF President Mohammed Salauddin , All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Chairman Ganesh Thapa and National Sports Council member-secretary Yubaraj Lama were present in the program.
