KATHMANDU, Sept 15: The match schedule for the SAFF U-15 Championship of boys category which is slated to start from October 25 in Nepal has been unveiled on Friday. The tournament will consist of the host Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and the Maldives and will be held at the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Complex at Satdobato, Lalitpur.

The tournament, which will run till November 3, has Nepal, Bangladesh, the Maldives and Pakistan in Group A, while the Group B comprises the defending champion India, Bhutan and Sri Lanka. Two teams each from the group will advance into the semifinal of the tournament which will be played in league cum knockout format. In the first edition of the tournament organized by Nepal, the host country lost in the final of the tournament 2-1 to India.
According to the fixtures list, Nepal will play its first match against Pakistan on October 26, while it will take on the Maldives the next day. In the last match of the group, Nepal will face Bangladesh on October 29.
