POKHARA, Oct 22: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has announced its plan to continue protests against the arrest of its Chairman, Rabi Lamichhane, in Pokhara for the fourth consecutive day on Tuesday.


The RSP has urged its workers and supporters to gather at Zero Kilometer in Pokhara at 1:30 PM. Earlier on Monday, the party staged demonstrations at Prithvi Chowk in Pokhara.

The RSP has been protesting since Lamichhane's arrest on Friday in connection with a cooperative fraud case.


On Sunday, the Kaski District Court granted police permission to detain Lamichhane for an additional six days to investigate his involvement in the embezzlement of cooperative funds.
