KATHMANDU, Oct 23: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has announced its plan to continue its protest for the fifth straight day today against the arrest of party chairman Rabi Lamichhane.
The party has urged its members and supporters to gather at Srijana Chowk in Pokhara at 12:30 PM to participate in the protest.
RSP intensifies protest against Chairman Lamichhane’s arrest
Expressing gratitude for the solidarity shown by the people of Pokhara and across the country against political retaliation, the party has urged everyone to join in today's protest against injustice.
The party has been continuously staging protests since Lamichhane was arrested in connection with the cooperative fraud case on Friday evening.
On Sunday, the Kaski District Court extended Rabi Lamichhane's custody for six more days for further investigation.
