KATHMANDU, May 15: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has expressed its suspicion that the top leaders of the three parties may be trying to dismiss the case of fake Bhutanese refugee scam.
A meeting of the parliamentary party of the RSP held at Singha Durbar on Sunday evening, concluded that the three big parties should not be allowed to cover up the fake Bhutanese refugee scam through collusion.
Talking to media persons after the meeting, Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar also clarified that there should not be a meeting of three parties to settle the corruption case in the parliamentary party meeting. He said that his party is not being involved in political give-and-take and focused on making parliament effective. He said that the party will support the current investigation into corruption.

Stating that the leaders of the top three parties have been holding a meeting recently and it has raised suspicions that the parliament will be shut down, he said, “Parliament is the most important place to raise our voice. I don't think that political parties will go towards saving again.”
He asserted that RSP's position is to attend meetings but parliamentary activities should be carried out by parliament. He said that actions and decisions should be made by parliament.
He said, “The three parties are somehow linked to the Bhutanese refugee scam. It has come out that the three parties called a meeting to cover up the incident. We will not participate in political give-and-take with them as the fourth party. The issue of corruption cannot be weakened by collusion.”
Chief Whip Pariyar clarified that if democracy is to be strengthened and made effective, all political parties should be assigned the leadership of committees according to their status.
