KATHMANDU, March 4: DP Aryal, the vice chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), and Hit Bahadur Tamang from the CPN (Maoist Center) are set to become ministers in the new Cabinet expected to be announced later today.
According to a leader from RSP, Aryal will formally take office as a minister today. RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane wanted to be part of the government, but the parties in power- CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center) did not want to give the Home Ministry to Lamichhane. Consequently, Vice Chairman Aryal has been selected to fill the ministerial position from RSP.

Similarly, Hit Bahadur Tamang's appointment from CPN (Maoist Center) has been confirmed. A source from the Maoist party revealed, "Hit Bahadur Ji will be sworn in as a minister today."
Furthermore, it has been announced that Padam Giri from CPN-UML and Vice Chairman DP Aryal from RSP will also be taking the oath of office. However, their ministries have not yet been disclosed.
