KATHMANDU, Nov 20: The meeting of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal held at the residence of party chair Kamal Thapa at Bishalnagar on Sunday has decided to play an effective role as a nationalistic force after its unification with the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP).
The merger process between two parties is taking place on November 21.

Earlier, chairmen of both parties Pashupati Shamsher Rana and Kamal Thapa had signed on a joint statement for the same. The unification programme is scheduled to take place at Nepal Academy Hall in the capital.
According to party spokesperson, Rajaram Shrestha, the unified party would play the effective roles to strengthen democracy and to restore Hindu state.
It is learnt that the two parties have ratified an interim statute in this connection and the meeting has also held discussions on preparations for unification process as well. RSS
