KATHMANDU, Sept 7: Prerana Koirala of Nepal has defeated India's Arshia Ahmed 6-0, 6-2 in the girl's singles event of ANLTA Asian Junior Tour U-14 at Tennis Complex, Satdobato on Tuesday. In the same event, Ira M Rawat and Priyanka Chaudhary overcame Alsha Regmi and Suravi Kaawal 6-1, 6-0 and 6-4, 6-3, respectively, while Tanisha Prajal of India beat her compatriot Iram Zaidi 6-1, 6-2. 



Similarly, Abhilasha Bista defeated Saloni Tamang 6-1, 6-3, Lakshanya Vishwanath of India defeated Sneha Yadev of Nepal 6-1, 6-1 and Rayana Shah of Nepal defeated Lumu Tso Lama 6-1, 6-1 and India's Shambhavi Tiwari overcame Isha Shree shah of Nepal 6-2, 6-3. 

In the boy's singles, Aadit Subedi beat Aryan Giri 6-2, 6-0 while Arnav Pathange defeated Sashikant Thakur 6-1, 6-0. In the same event, Saharsha Chand of Nepal beat India's Arihant Goel 6-1, 6-0 while Amitoj Singh Sachdeva of India registered victory over Suden Giri of Nepal 6-0, 6-1. Samyak Bajracharya of Nepal overcame India's Shrikant Thakur 6-3,5-7, 6-3, Ambitious Goldsmith of India beat Nepal's Binaya Batas 6-1, 6-2, India's Aryaman Mehta overcame Aman Goel of the same Nation 6-1, 6-1 and Vatsal Srivastava of India defeated Nepal's Samragya Katawal 6-1, 6-1.



In the girls doubles, the pair of Abhilasha Bista and Ira M Raut of Nepal overcame fellow nationals Priyanka Chaudhary and Sneha Yadav of same nation 6-0, 6-0 to progress in the semifinal of the tournament. The pair of Tanisha Pranjal and Shambhavi Tiwari of India also advanced to the semifinal beating the comprising pair of Nepal and India Prerana Koirala and Lakshanya Vishwanath 6-3, 6-2. In the same event, the pair of Arshia Ahmed and Iram Zaidi of India beat Nepalese pair of Lumu Tso lama and Sharvani Shrestha 6-3, 6-1 to advanced to the last four. The pair of Alsha Regmi and Saloni Tamang also progressed to the semifinal overcoming the pair of Isha shree Shah and Rayana Shah 6-1, 6-2.



In the boys doubles, the pair of Ambitious Goldsmith and Aryaman Mehta of India defeated the pair of Suden Giri  and Evyak Joshi  of Nepal 6-1, 6-0. Similarly the pair of Abhijeet Srivastava and Vatsal Srivastava of India overcame the pair of Aman Goel and Arihant Goel of same nation 6-7, 7-5.  In the same event, the pair of Arnav Pathange and Amitoj Singh Sachdeva of India beat the pair of Binaya Batas and Chhabilal Rawat of Nepal 6-1, 6-1.
