According to a public notice issued by the office, mapping services for banks and financial institutions have been made available through an online system operated by institutional users from June 22.

The notice states that banks and financial institutions must obtain such services only through the MeroKitta platform using their designated institutional user accounts.

The office said the arrangement has been introduced to make service delivery more organized, transparent and technology-friendly.

With the implementation of the new system, banks and financial institutions are expected to avoid the need for physical visits to the office for mapping related services and instead receive faster, easier and more efficient services through the online platform.
