Preparations underway to form Oli-Nepal camp

KATHMANDU, Oct 22: Senior leader of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Madhav Kumar Nepal has expressed dissatisfaction over the party's failure to implement the provision of 'one person one post' system.

KATHMANDU, Oct 22: Senior leader of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Madhav Kumar Nepal has expressed dissatisfaction over the party's failure to implement the provision of 'one person one post' system.


Presenting a written proposal at a Central Secretariat meeting held in Baluwatar today, leader Nepal expressed strong dissatisfaction over the party's poor management and the government's performance at all the levels – central, provincial and local -  following the unification of the party.


"Despite the 'one person one party provision' adopted by the party, Chief Ministers Shankar Pokharel and Prithvi Subba Gurung are also holding positions of provincial chiefs.


Nepal expressed worry saying that the party is still squabbling over the internal issues related to organizational structure at a time when the government is under fire over its poor performance from all quarters.

While Bamdev Gautam gearing up for contesting by-elections to come into power, the Oli and Nepal groups are busy doing homework to unify once again.


Gautam had faced a defeat in the previous parliamentary election.


In 2054 BS, Gautam had defected to form the then Communist Party of Nepal (Marxist-Leninist). Currently, Gautam is close to Dahal.


Gautam vented ire at the meeting after it decided not to accept the resignation tendered by lawmaker Rambir Manandhar of Kathmandu constituency 7.


On the other hand, Dahal camp is exercising to hold as many posts as it can in its camp.


The Central Secretariat meeting has refused to approve Party Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha's resignation.
