An 18-member specialist squad from the Nepal Orthopedic Hospital had rendered the services. A medical specialist from abroad was also in the team.
According to Narayan Municipality’s Mayor Loman Sharma, the service was meant for those who were unable to visit Kathmandu or outside the district to seek the service due to economic issue. Some cases have been referred to Kathmandu for surgery free of cost, the organisers said.
