Nepali Fashion Designer and Film Producer, Poonam Chhetri, is preparing to showcase her clothing designs during ‘Catwalk Paris Revolution’. The event, organized by SM Global, is slated for 12th September.
During the event, Chhetri will be showcasing a fusion of Nepali and western designs. Speaking about her designs, Chhetri said, “I presented the dresses that reflected Nepali culture during the shows in London and New York. This time, I have created different designs by fusing Nepali culture with western dresses.” She further stated she was hopeful that the participants would love the fusion of Nepali culture with western dresses.

After finishing the two-day-long fashion show, Chhetri will participate in another fashion event in Dubai. Speaking about her plans, she said, “I want to establish a fashion college and institute in Nepal in the future. I am conducting my research for that. During my visit to UK, Japan, Norway, and New York, I found that the people of those countries were not aware of the existence of our country, so I want to promote our country through fashion.”
Chhetri is also preparing to organize one huge fashion show in Nepal, in collaboration with Poonam entertainment and SM Global.
