KATHMANDU, Dec 25: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has hoped that the political parties would be successful to forge consensus very soon.

During a gathering organized by Nepal Khadgi Service Committee here Sunday, NC President Deuba said he was committed to clearing political deadlock by forging consensus with other political parties.

"Three sets of elections should be held after political agreement," he underscored, adding that the country had no option but to implement the constitution and make headway to economic prosperity.

Referring to the traditional work of Khadgi community as butchery, leader Deuba said his party would help build slaughter houses to make butchery systematic.

Similarly, NC lawmaker Bhimsen Das Pradhan said as the NC is the torchbearer of every political movement in the country, it is serious to the implementation of constitution too. "CPN-UML is not responsible towards people and the country," he blamed.

Spokesperson of Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Rajaram Shrestha, said the country witnesses serious crisis when the political parties act most irresponsibly. "If the country does not see change in existing situation, risk of disintegration would loom large," he warned.

Committee Chairman Manoj Newa Khadki, and former Minister for State, Tirtha Man Dangol, pointed out the need of making meat hygienic in view of the public health. RSS
