RUKUM, July 30: Police have arrested a district leader of Chand-led Nepal Communist Party in Rukum (East) on Tuesday.
District Police Office in Rukum (East) stated that Kuber Oli, treasurer of the youth wing of the party, was detained from Aathbiskot area while he was extorting donations from local businessmen.
Injunction continues as tension flares up in Rukum East
DSP Sumit Khadka told Republica Online that the police have launched a probe into the incident involving Oli. As many as 13 district leaders of Chand-led NCP have been arrested in Rukum so far.
