KATHMANDU, Aug 27: At present, the low-pressure line of monsoon is located near the northern part of Nepal. There is also the influence of the low-pressure line in the northern part of Bangladesh on Nepal.

As a result, the country is experiencing light to moderate rainfall at a few places in Koshi province, Madhesh province and Bagmati province in the morning. Similarly, there is moderate rainfall in one or two places in the rest of the provinces, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).

The officials of the MFD have said that there will be partial to normal change in the weather across the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain at a few places in the hilly areas of the country and light rain at one or two places in the rest of the country. Also, there is a possibility of storms in a few places of Terai in Madhesh and Lumbini provinces. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain at a few places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and one or two places in the rest of the provinces.

Similarly, there will be partial to normal rain in the country at night. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain at a few places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at one or two places in the remaining provinces. There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places of Gandaki Province. Also, there is a possibility of windstorms in a few places of Terai in Koshi province, Madhesh province and Lumbini province.
