KATHMANDU, Jan 26: Currently, the western low pressure system has a partial effect in the country. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the effect of the weather system has caused a partial cloud cover in the hilly areas of the country and fog in the Terai region.
Weather to remain clear today
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there will be partial to moderate cloud cover in the hilly areas of Province 1, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces this afternoon. It is said that the same weather system will prevail even during night across the country including the Kathmandu Valley.
However, it’s been sunny in the morning in Kathmandu valley for two days and colder in the afternoon due to the cloud cover. According to the department, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu is three degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 16 degrees Celsius.
