KATHMANDU, Jan 23: Partial to moderate rain and snowfall will occur and clouds will cover most parts of the country till Monday.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM), the western low pressure system, which entered from western Nepal this morning, is likely to affect Nepal from the western part of the country on Sunday and Monday.
Snowfall, rain predicted across the country
The DHM has said that light rainfall is likely at a few places in the far west, Karnali and Lumbini provinces as well as in Gandaki and Bagmati provinces. There is a possibility of light snowfall in some parts of the high hills and mountains of the country.
As the temperature is still dropping across the country, the DHM has requested everyone to take necessary precautions to avoid cold and its effects.
