The parents padlocked the Amarjyoti Primary School on Friday, demanding regular presence of principal Taranath Acharya in the school.
The school has been conducting classes up to Grade IV. Acharya is out of contact.
The parents are demanding that principal and teachers regularly attend the school, the goings-on in the school be transparent, and the quality of education be raised.
