KATHMANDU, Oct 24: A minibus accident has claimed one life and left six injured in Barahatal Rural Municipality, Surkhet. The deceased has been identified as Deepak Shahi, 35, a resident of Thantikandh Rural Municipality, Dailekh.
Superintendent of Police (SP) of the District Police Office, Surkhet, Rupesh Khadka, said that the minibus (022 1 Kha 1014) en route to Birendranagar from Jumla met with an accident near Hudke of Barahatal Rural Municipality-8 along the Karnali Highway at around 7 AM on Thursday.

SP Khadaka said that other six people have sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment at Karnali Care Hospital. The vehicle carrying 29 passengers went out of control and overturned on the road, according to the police.
