SURKHET, Jan 22: Four people were killed when a Hilux vehicle (01 026 CHA 9213) they were traveling in from Chinchu in Bheri Ganga Municipality of Surkhet to the district headquarters Birendranagar met with an accident on Sunday morning.
According to the District Police Office, Surkhet, the four-wheeler met with the accident near Juprakhola in Birendranagar-11.

According to the police, the vehicle went out of control and fell down 80 meters from the road. Superintendent of Police Yogendra Singh Thapa, chief of the District Police Office, said that the driver Sagar Shahi, 27, of Birendranagar Municipality-7, Deepandra Jung Shahi, 33, of Dungeshwar Rural Municipality-5, Babin Shahi, 31, of Bhagwatimai Rural Municipality-5 of Dailekh and 36-year-old Rajendra BC of Gurans Rural Municipality-3 of Dailekh were killed in the accident.
26-year-old Birendra Shahi of Bhairavi Rural Municipality-5 of Dailekh was seriously injured in the accident. He is being treated at Karnali Province Hospital Kalagaon.
