Motorcycle rider Prakash Upadhayay, 45, of Shankarnagar died when a jeep (Lu 1 Ja 712) heading to Butwal from Bhairahawa hit his motorcycle and a bicycle coming from the same direction. Bicycle rider Prem Bahadur BK of Gangoliya and Nanda Lal Tharu of Lumbini Harnaiya were injured in the accident. The injured are undergoing treatment at Lumbini Zonal Hospital, Butwal.
Locals have disrupted Butwal- Bhairahawa road section. Police said efforts are on to resume traffic on the road section.
