One killed in elephant attack

UDAYAPUR, Jan 16: An elderly woman was killed by an elephant in Tapeshwari-1 on Saturday.



Kokil Shrestha, 65, was killed by the elephant at around seven in the morning when she was returning from toilet, police said.



Locals believe that the elephant must have entered the village from the adjoining Koshi Tappu Wild Life Reserve.
