KATHMANDU, April 2: Ranjita Shrestha, the chairperson of the Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP), has declared that the meeting called by the faction led by Resham Chaudhary is unauthorized.
Shrestha said that the meeting called by the Chaudhary faction lacks official sanction.
Addressing the central members and office-bearers of the party, she mentioned that the meeting called on April 5 and 6 doesn’t hold official status.
Ganga Chaudhary, representing the Chaudhary faction, has called a meeting on April 5 and 6. Chaudhary requested the attendees to bring their original citizenship and voter ID cards as important issues of the party are set for discussion.
