The government has called back the Nepali envoys to Israel and South Africa. 

Three held with 2.99 kg gold at TIA

Police have arrested three people including Naresh Bohara of Bajhang Bungal Municipality-7 with a gold-chain weighing 2.99 kg at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). Acting on a tip-off, a special squad of police on Wednesday held the trio with the illegal gold while they were trying to smuggle it evading tax, using the home-bound foreigners.

Over 20,000 drivers taken action monitoring through CC camera
The Metropolitan Traffic Police Division has effectively launched monitoring of vehicles plying on the road through CC camera in Kathmandu valley.Traffic Police are keeping a close watch on drivers whether they are following the traffic rules or not.  A total of 20,024 drivers of various vehicles faced action based on CC camera monitoring. The police have begun this bid since 2073 BS and it has become effective so far.

Northern California fire death toll at 56; 130 missing
As the scope of a deadly Northern California wildfire set in, the sheriff said more than 450 people had now been assigned to comb through the charred remains in search for more bodies. The blaze has killed at least 56 people and authorities say 130 are unaccounted for.

Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab resigns over EU agreement

Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab has resigned saying he "cannot in good conscience support" the UK's draft Brexit agreement with the EU. Theresa May announced on Wednesday evening that she had secured the backing of her cabinet for the agreement, after a five hour meeting. But several ministers were understood to have spoken against it.
