Newly-appointed parliamentary chairs take oath of office and secrecy

KATHMANDU, Aug 16: Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Devraj Ghimire administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly elected chairpersons of two parliamentary committees on Thursday.     


The newly elected chairpersons  are Ishwari Devi Neupane (Parliamentary Hearings Committee) and Thakur Prasad Gaire (Monitoring and Evaluation of the Implementation of the Directive Principles, Policies and Obligations of the State Committee).     
Neupane is a lawmaker from the Nepali Congress while Gaire is from the CPN-UML.
