KATHMANDU, March 31: Nepathya, a popular Nepali musical group, is turning 25 on April 1.

Nepathya plans to celebrate its Silver Jubilee Year under the theme of ‘Celebrating 25 Years of Nepathya’ by conducting several activities, such as periodic releases of new songs and videos, and videos of its classic hits. The group, which had released its first album titled ‘Nepathya’ on April 1, 1993, plans to recognize the initial track of the album -- Aganai Bhari -- as its first song.
As a mark of honor to the ‘Adhunik’ genre, Nepathya will support Nepalaya to restart their famous ‘Paleti’ series of concerts. As part of the silver jubilee activity, Nepalaya is also planning to release a biography of Nepathya.
