Nepali envoy presents credentials to Paraguayan prez

KATHMANDU, Nov 6: Nepal´s envoy to Brazil Pradhumna Bikram Shah, who is concurrently accredited to Paraguay, presented his letter of credence to the President of Paraguay Federico Franco on Tuesday, said a statement from the Embassy of Nepal in Brasilia, Brazil.



President Franco and envoy Shah discussed possible areas of cooperation between the two countries, both in the international and bilateral fronts, particularly in their capacity as least developed countries. Shah also conveyed warm greetings on behalf of President Dr Ram Baran Yadav and Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai to President Franco.[break]



 Earlier in the morning, envoy Shah had also held bilateral talks with Antonio Rivas Palacios, Vice Foreign Minister of Paraguay. During the meeting, they also discussed possibility of bilateral cooperation in the areas of energy, agriculture and tourism.
