KATHMANDU, July 16: Nepal Telecom has stated that its server has not been hacked.
The company shut down the suspicious device and launched an investigation after reports surfaced that a hacker group had recently attacked Telecom's servers.

The Telecom said in a statement that from the investigation it was found that no data was stolen. "After a detailed investigation by the relevant experts of the company, it has been concluded that no data of the company has been stolen and there is no truth in the claims mentioned in the news regarding the hack," read the statement.
The company said that it has been adopting a security mechanism to keep the data related to the customer safe and the company is committed to keep the details of the customer safe in the days to come.
