COVID-19 death rate in every million population in Nepal found more than double than that of India
KATHMANDU, May 30: Nepal’s COVID-19 test positivity rate has been found to be more than three times higher than that of India.
Revised interest rate corridor system introduced

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Nepal has a COVID-19 test positivity rate of 37.7 percent which is 10.4 percent in India. It means that more than 37 people test positive for COVID-19 in every 100 tests in Nepal and the number is more than 10 in India.
Likewise, the number of people dying of COVID-19 in every 1 million population is also double in Nepal than that of India.
Nepal’s COVID-19 death rate in every 1 million population stands at 5 percent while the rate is 2.8 percent in India.
However, both COVID-19 test positivity rate and death rate in both countries are gradually declining.
