KATHMANDU, Feb 15: As many as 1,835 people recovered from COVID-19 on Tuesday, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population. Similarly, Nepal recorded 680 new cases of COVID-19 with two deaths from the deadly virus on the same day.
As many as 7,095 samples were tested for COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 498 PCR and 182 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 20,946 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 19,982 are in self-isolation, 757 in institutional isolation, 174 in ICU’s and 33 on ventilators. Similarly, 112 are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,902 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 209 cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 170 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, 15 in Bhaktapur and 24 in Lalitpur districts.
