KATHMANDU, June 14: Nepal recorded 2,918 new cases of COVID-19 along with 5,147 recoveries and 53 deaths on Monday.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 9,438 PCR tests and 5,381 antigen tests were conducted on Monday. Of them, 2,918 tests turned out to be positive for COVID-19. With this Nepal’s COVID-19 casetally has surged to 631,860 including 536,252 recoveries and 8,465 deaths.

There are currently 67,123 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, 61,122 are in home isolation, 4,682 in institutional isolation, 955 in ICUs and 324 on ventilators.
The Kathmandu Valley recorded 626 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday. Of them, 396 were detected in Kathmandu, 85 in Bhaktapur and 145 in Lalitpur districts.
