KATHMANDU, July 19: Nepal recorded 2,445 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday along with 1,258 recoveries and 32 deaths on Monday.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 7,833 PCR tests and 3,831 antigen tests were conducted on Monday. Of them, 1,642 PCR tests and 803 antigen tests turned out to be positive for COVID-19.

So far, 9,582 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in Nepal.
There are a total of 23,334 COVID-19 patients in home isolation, 2,503 in institutional isolation, 564 in ICUs and 155 on ventilators.
Likewise, Kathmandu valley recorded 112 new cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 59 were detected in Kathmandu, 22 in Bhaktapur, and 31 in Lalitpur districts. In addition, as many as 3067118 people have received their first dose of vaccine inside the country, while 1134317 have already been administered with their second dose.
