KATHMANDU, Dec 16: Nepal recorded 184 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday along with 267 recoveries and two deaths, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 11,018 COVID-19 tests were conducted on Thursday. Of them 160 PCR tests and 24 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly infection.

There are currently 41,267 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, 5,247 are in home isolation, 279 in institutional isolation, 111 in ICUs and 28 on ventilators as of Thursday afternoon.
Likewise, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 1,033 new cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 62 cases were detected in Kathmandu, five in Bhaktapur and 20 in Lalitpur districts.
