Nepal records 121 new cases, one death due to COVID-19 on Wednesday

KATHMANDU, April 12:  Nepal recorded 121 new cases of COVID-19 along with 81 recoveries and one death from the deadly virus on Wednesday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).

KATHMANDU, April 12:  Nepal recorded 121 new cases of COVID-19 along with 81 recoveries and one death from the deadly virus on Wednesday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).


As many as 2,377 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 58 PCR and 63 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 445 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 25 are in institutional isolation, 11 in ICUs and three on ventilators. 


Meanwhile, the health ministry has urged one and all to take caution and also get themselves a booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
