Gold price exceeds Rs 121,000 per tola

KATHMANDU, Dec 4: The price of gold increased by Rs 800 per tola in the domestic market on Monday. Setting new records consistently, the price of gold has now exceeded Rs 121,000 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

KATHMANDU, Dec 4: The price of gold increased by Rs 800 per tola in the domestic market on Monday. Setting new records consistently, the price of gold has now exceeded Rs 121,000 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.


Fine gold is being traded at Rs 121,600 per tola on Monday. The precious yellow metal was sold at Rs 120,800 per tola on Sunday.

Similarly, standard gold is being sold at Rs 121,000 per tola today, compared to the price of Rs 120,200 per tola the previous day.


Meanwhile, the price of silver in the domestic market is stable at Rs 1,545 per tola.


On Monday, the price of gold in the international market was set at US dollar 2,086 per ounce as of 11 AM ET.
