KATHMANDU, Nov 20: Nepal recorded 242 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday along with 444 recoveries and one death, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 7,136 samples were tested for COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 209 PCR and 33 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 7,592 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 6,852 are in home isolation, 451 in institutional isolation, 234 in ICU’s and 55 on ventilators. Similarly, 98 are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,495 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 105 cases of the virus on Saturday. Of them, 71 were recorded in Kathmandu, six in Bhaktapur, and 28 in Lalitpur districts.
