Nepal has right to have access to sea: Brazilian envoy

KATHMANDU, May 24: Ambassador of Brazil to Nepal Maria Teresa Mesquita Pessoa visited Kanjirowa National Secondary School on Thursday to share her experiences with the students.

KATHMANDU, May 24: Ambassador of Brazil to Nepal Maria Teresa Mesquita Pessoa visited Kanjirowa National Secondary School on Thursday to share her experiences with the students. 


“She shared that Nepal being the landlocked country also has the right to have the access to the sea,” read a statement issued by the school.

The ambassador handed over a few books of Brazil to the school library. 


During the program, Maria shared some common features of Brazil and Nepal and appreciated the natural beauty of the country including many beautiful high mountains. She also shared how Brazil was colonized and freed. 


During the program, Executive Chairman of the School, Kapil Dev Regmi discussed Nepal’s 

general public’s attraction toward Brazil also of the football.
