KATHMANDU, Oct 4: Nepal Goodwill Industries recently launched three variances of pickles under the label Bhale Dai ko Achar. The pickles are available in three flavors – fish, chicken, and Sichuan pepper (timmur). In a press statement issued by the producers, they mentioned that they had gained the Department of Food Technology and Quality Control (DFTQC) approval, and were ready for distribution.
Explaining the composition of the product, he informed that the absence of preservatives made the product unique. However, local chilies, Nepali timmur, and soya beans --the key ingredients -- provided the pickle its distinct taste.
