Nepal, China agree to clear border hurdles

CHAUTARA, Nov 29: A border meeting between Nepali and Chinese authorities concluded deciding to end increasing disagreement in Tatopani area.



In the meeting that ended on Sunday, Chief District Officer of Sindhupalchowk Hari Krishna Upadhaya led the Nepali side and Regional Chief of Nelam Region Hadd-Bin represented the Chinese side.



On the occasion, the Chinese side apologized for misbehavior with Nepalis and expressed commitment to create favorable environment.



Agreement to release up to 120 containers daily from limited numbers at present, ban parking in Miteri Bridge, tighten the entry of Tibetans and systematize temporary entry cards are in the 13-point agreement, according to CDO Upadhaya.
