He urged the government to systematically investigate the issue and ensure that anyone involved, regardless of their position, is brought within the legal framework.

He said, “In such incidents, only the laborers and drivers are arrested. It becomes major news for a while and then fades away, returning to normal after some time. On behalf of our party, I request the formation of a special investigation committee for this incident, and I urge that even high-ranking leaders and officials involved in this case be brought within the legal framework.”

On Tuesday, police seized foreign currency worth approximately Rs 250 million from Jhor, Kathmandu, and arrested one individual in connection with the case. The arrest was made public during a press conference held by the police on Tuesday.
